Issue 20 of Nanooze: This issue of Nanooze is more than just sliced bread. It is all about food and how it is being transformed using nanotechnology. Food is an essential part of our lives but also
a part of our culture. Travel the world and food is part of what makes different parts of the world interesting and exciting. In every part of the world, food is transformed from some basic ingredients into interesting dishes, all of which involve a bit of nanotechnology. You might not see it but from bagels in New York City to shiro miso in Japan to Zerradoun salt in Morocco,
nanoscale science and technology play a role. This issue of Nanooze is about food but from the nanoscale viewpoint.
